Right?? I have struggled with this also. In a busy public swimming area, it feels weird to be so ‘undressed’. I just wear shorts and a (tight) top now. The whole ‘bathing suit’ thing is weird. Actually, I prefer none at all. I love nude beaches! But more seriously, when I do go to beaches where textiles are required, I like wearing microfiber bikini panties as a bikini bottom. They are so thin and light it’s almost like nothing at all. This fabric is awfully clingy and reveal every curve and crevice…. ‘specially when wet. As a lifeguard, I hate when people where lifeguard hoodies or lifeguard shirts (when they are not lifeguards) in public because they’re “cool.” I also hate people who wear Harvard/Yale/college apparel when you didn’t go there. It’s like wearing a t-shirt for a band you hate or a city you’ve never been to. It just feels fake and poser-y to me. That said, if you are dead set on wearing one, at least get a funny one so people know you’re not serious, like the ones that say “Off Duty, Save Yourself.” Those are great. You get the look, and a laugh. It’s kind of a normal thing for guys not to wear shirts while swimming. We guys can choose to wear a shirt or not while swimming. Most men go shirtless when they go swimming, it’s just a normal thing. My thoughts are, that there’s no problem with guys going shirtless while swimming. My chest is hairy, and I still go shirtless when I swim.

You get what you pay for, but 3 shirts for $10, it’s great quality, yes it shrinks like they all do, like anything worth $3 would. I tie dyed mine so I had to wash. Very comfy. Just buy a size up and quit your belly achin.
